ELECTION NOTIFICAITON
INCAA announces the election of the Governing Council Members for the period 2026–2029.
The Governing Council of INCAA appointed Professor P. Vijaya Prakash as the Election Officer for conducting the election of the Governing Council Members of INCAA for the period 2026–2029, w.e.f. September 1, 2026. The official email address of the Election Officer is eo@incaa.in.
The following is the schedule for the election:

Filing of Nominations
From Saturday, 8 August 2026 to Tuesday, 18 August 2026, till 24.00 hours

Withdrawal of nominations
Up to Friday, 21 August 2026, till 24.00 hours

Scrutiny and publication of list of candidates whose nominations are successful
Sunday, 23 August 2026, till 24.00 hours
04
Polling
Monday, 24 August 2026 to Sunday, 30 August 2026, till 24.00 hours

Declaration of results
Monday, 31 August 2026
Members are further notified that the elections will be conducted online through the election portal available on the INCAA website (incaa.in). All Founder and Life Members whose names have been verified on the INCAA website are eligible to nominate and/or vote, following the procedures published on the website from time to time.
Procedure for filing Nomination
Members eligible to vote in INCAA elections can sign in to the INCAA website at incaa.in and visit their Dashboard. Click “Election Portal” to open “Announcements”.
Find “INCAA 2026 ELECTIONS”, which will remain active during the nomination period from August 8 to August 18, 2026, and click “View”. Follow the nomination instructions and nominate a candidate of your choice.
Ensure that the selected candidate is alive and accepts the nomination. Select a “Backer” from the list of INCAA members to support the nomination.
Each member may nominate only one candidate and may serve as a Backer for a maximum of two candidates. The nominee and the selected Backer must both approve the nomination online through the election portal. A confirmation pop-up will appear when the nomination is completed successfully.
Procedure for Withdrawal of Nomination
Members who previously accepted a nomination and subsequently wish to withdraw may do so online through the INCAA website at incaa.in.
Open the Dashboard, click “Election Portal”, and go to “Announcements”. Under “Nominate”, select the red “Withdraw” button to withdraw the nomination.
Procedure for Voting
Members eligible to vote in INCAA elections can sign in to the INCAA website at incaa.in, open their Dashboard, and click “Election Portal” to go to “Elections”.
Select candidates by clicking the box beside each candidate’s name. Each member may vote for a maximum of 21 candidates. The counter displayed at the top shows how many selections remain and decreases as votes are added.
It is not compulsory to vote for all 21 candidates. Members may submit any number of selections up to the permitted maximum. Press the “Submit” button to complete voting.
